Round Table Meetings
What is a round table meeting?
It is possible to have without prejudice round table meetings between legal teams and parties at appropriate stages in order to try and resolve matters.
A round table meeting will normally be a without prejudice meeting between the parties and their lawyers to focus on settlement discussions. It provides time for all parties to focus their minds on bringing the matter to a conclusion. Unlike a private FDR or arbitration, there is no third party sitting as a judge.
